先日千葉県内房の保田港へ航行した際、帰りにお客さんが手を振って見送ってビデオまで撮影してくれました！
When we sailed to Hota Port in Uchibo, Chiba Prefecture the other day, our customer waved us off on our way back and took a video of us!

14日は、やや風が強い一日でしたが、晴天の中、今年も無事マリーナ新年会が行われ、餅つきや、もつ鍋や美味しい料理やお菓子も盛りだくさん、つかの間の楽しいひと時でした。
The 14th was a rather windy day, but under clear skies, the marina's New Year's party was held again this year. It was a fleeting and enjoyable time with rice cake pounding, a hot pot with rice cakes and other delicious dishes and snacks.
今年は初めてオーナーさんさんとそのご家族参加で腕相撲大会を開催、実はこれに向けて大会と同じ企画の台をマリーナが造ってくれる本気振り
This year, for the first time, an arm-wrestling tournament was held with the participation of owners and their families, and the marina actually built a real arm wrestling platform for the event.

男性60歳以上と以下、女性の部とけっこう皆さん、本気モード😅！
Everyone was in serious mode 😅 in the men's 60+, women's, and women's divisions!
で、自分は審判役の後、スタローンの映画オーバーザトップの曲を流しながら最後に勝ち抜いたオーナー優勝者がマリーナ提供のビッグな商品！を賭けて私とガチンコ対戦。
After officiating there, with a song from the Stallone movie "Over the Top" and the winner of the final round played with me for a large prize offered by the marina.
カラクリは私が負けたらマリーナは商品を提供しなければならず、ちょっとプレッシャーがかかりましたが、結果はご想像通りで
Actually I was under a bit of pressure because if I lost, the marina had to provide a fantastic prize ,but you can imagine the result .
しかし、盛り上がって楽しんだのは良かったですが、腕ずもうやり過ぎて疲労とヘルニア悪化、やっぱり歳かな～～～
However, it was good to have a good time, but my arms were already too fatigued and my hernia was getting worse. Maybe getting so old....
それでも、つかの間のめちゃくちゃ楽しいひと時を過ごせました。
Still, we had a fleeting, crazy good time.
入念に準備をしていただいたマリーナのスタッフ皆さんには心から感謝です！
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the marina staff for the preparation!
あ、皆さん、マリーナで来年まで腕相撲練習してまた挑戦待ってます。
Oh, and everyone, please practice arm wrestling so hard til next year and challenge me again!
高齢者とはいえ、まだまだ負けませんよ、ニタニタニタ

（続）内房からの帰航時、相模湾に入ると今までの凪が嘘のように、一気に西南西が
吹き始めました
(Continued) As we returned to port from Uchibo and entered Sagami Bay, the calm conditions changed drastically, and suddenly the wind began to blow from the west to the southwest.
いや～最近、こんなことが多くて参ります。

この日も確かに予報は夕方から悪化する予定でしたが、早まりました。😓
保田からすぐに帰航の途について正解〇！
The forecast was indeed for this day to worsen in the evening, but it was earlier!
Thanks God! Glad we left Hota port earlier !
航行中あっという間に、13m近い西南西風が.....
In no time at all while sailing, the winds were nearly 13 mph W-SW .....
海も一気に白波が....The sea also has whitecaps at once ....

マリーナ帰港後は、海況はしけになりました
After returning to the marina, sea conditions turned rough.
長年船を操船していて、湘南の冬と言えば、主には北～北東風が中心で凪日和が多かった記憶ですが、特に近年は予報を超える風が吹きだすこともあり、しばらくは午前中の出港をおススメします！
Having operated BIG TAKⅡ for many years, I remember that winter in Shonan was mainly north to northeast winds with many calm days, but especially in recent years, the winds can blow beyond the forecast so we recommend sailing in the morning time for a while!

13日は朝早めに出港し、今年初の内房へ向けて航行しました!
On the 13th, we departed early in the morning and sailed to Uchibo /Chiba pref. for the first time this year!
天気はまずまずでしたが、空模様もちょっといつもと違う雰囲気で幻想的と言っていいのか、不気味と言っていいのか....
The weather was not too bad, but the sky looked a little different from usual, and it was either fantastic or eerie. ....
往路相模湾から三崎港を通り抜けて、東京湾口へ航行すると大型船と遭遇出来てちょっと一安心。でも、コロナ前と比べる未だかなり少ない状況で、中東の地政学リスクもあり今後の流通はやっぱりかなり心配です～
On the way from Sagami Bay to the mouth of Tokyo Bay via Misaki Port, I was a little relieved to see a few large vessels, although still fewer than before the Corona.
With the geopolitical risks in the Middle East, we are still quite concerned about the future distribution network by ship.
保田港に到着。いつもお世話になっている漁協にもご挨拶。
Arrived at Hoda Port. We greeted the fishermen's cooperative association who always takes care of us.
やっぱり内房エリアは長閑で現実を忘れられる時間です。明らかに時間は湘南よりゆっくり流れます。
After all, the Uchibo area is always quiet and time to forget reality. Obviously time passes slower than Shonan! .
無事お客様の出航を終え、復路では、軍関係の護衛艦も見受けられ、やっぱりちょっと現実的な気分になりました！
After the safe departure of our guests, we also saw a military convoy on the return trip, which made us feel a little more realistic after all!
